Woke Pumpkin up last weekend. We had to go down to Stephen's in Clarksville, AR and decided to take Pumpkin along. I had filled the fresh water tank the week before with a high dose of bleach water, so I flushed it again we headed down to Stephen's on Sunday (May 3). While there, we took a trip over to Ft. Smith and back. We had a nice visit. Stephen has rented a really nice place, though I don't envy his pine needle collection.
The week before, Stephen got a new little puppy. After losing Betty, his little (well, maybe not so little) Dachshund mix to what appeared to be a poisoning of some kind, he wanted some company. He got a 12 week old golden lab/chow mix female. Izzy (Isabelle) was a little shy with us and Ditto at first, but it wasn't long until she was tormenting Ditto. Eventually, she was looking to Joyce and I for some ear scratching. Sweet pup. She should be good company for Stephen.
Pumpkin did great on the trip. It will need a 30,000 mile checkup soon, an oil change and some DEF, then will be ready to hit the road. Just not sure where to, though. We are planning a Grand Canyon trip in July with Stephen, but will be going with him. He has a new (to him) trailer camper and a new (to everyone) pickup. Guess Pumpkin will sit this one out, but late August we might be going out to Utah and Idaho. Can't keep up with great grandkids. We have two more new ones to meet.
